Jay Sterkel

Jay produces the design, development, and delivery of experiences in order to sustain his client’s creative strategies and business objectives. His experience in global events, technical production, project management, operational growth, and software development culminates in his consultancy and leadership here. He really just wants everyone to make cool stuff.

Prior to joining Charcoalblue, Jay worked with The Lighting Syndicate, an Off-Broadway production company, in theater, events, and immersive experiences for over 15 years. He also developed his own consultancy helping small businesses scale with digital transformations and database development. His experiential and immersive production work with Empire Entertainment and Huge has been featured in the London Skyline and the Tokyo Olympics.

Jay manages the wildly brilliant Technical Producer team at Charcoalblue Experience in addition to trickier developments and creative account management. He holds degrees from New York University and the City University of New York.
