Joe Stansfield

Joe leads our global design services at Charcoalblue Experience. Joe has led our teams in delivering some of our largest experiential design projects to date in the events, workplace and commercial sector. Joe also heads up several managed technical design & design management services for one of our key clients.

With over 8 years’ experience as a designer and team leader at Charcoalblue, Joe’s specialist knowledge in technical design has been built from the ground up -
consulting on large scale theatre & performing arts projects, and in more recent years focusing on projects beyond traditional theatre spaces, with design expertise in integrating digital technologies into event spaces such as projection systems, broadcast cameras and large-scale LED displays.

Joe also leads the development of our digital design tools, heading up a team dedicated to building bespoke VR and visualization services. Joe’s digital project work has also seen him lead a multidisciplinary project team of designers and web developers to create a publicly available AV design guide website for Google, as well as a 6-month R&D project with innovate UK to develop a bespoke interactive web application.

Uniquely positioned with his multidisciplinary design experience, Joe’s focus will be to build and hone our experiential and digital design services, for world-class collaborative spaces.
