Ollie Wade

Ollie consults on lighting, video and sound design and provides team leadership and coordination across all aspects of theatre consultancy.

Ollie has more than two decades of professional experience working within the entertainment industry. Prior to joining Charcoalblue he toured extensively as Head of Sound on productions including Shrek the Musical, Cats, Legally Blonde and Spamalot. As such, he has experience of working in the majority of the UK's major theatres as well as many venues internationally.

As resident sound and lighting technicians at Nottingham Theatre Royal, where he worked for 7 years, Ollie was involved with the redesign and update of many of the theatre's systems including the new paging control system, installed sound system and stage lighting control systems. He has also held roles at Plymouth Theatre Royal, Warwick Arts Centre and Warwick University Student’s Union and continues to work on a freelance basis within the theatre industry including operating and production sound for various events.

At Charcoalblue Ollie's consultancy work includes the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Sadler’s Wells East, Donmar Warehouse and London’s Alexandra Palace.
